巴黎遇襲後這首詩傳開瞭：我們不應為巴黎祈禱

11月13日巴黎恐怖襲擊的消息傳來，在世界各地紛紛為巴黎祈禱之際，印度新德裡博主卡魯納·伊紮拉·帕裡克在其臉譜網頁上寫道：

“今天早晨醒來，巴黎的消息令我大為不安，但社交媒體的反響更令我驚詫。

“我明白巴黎是許多人深愛和熟悉的地方，但令我不安的是，就在兩天前，在我爸爸長大的城市貝魯特，發生可怕的爆炸，卻鮮有關註。

“同樣令我不安的是，巴格達，這個我與之毫無關系的地方，上周發生的毫無人性的爆炸受到的關註更少。

“更糟糕的是，我發現對難民危機的理解扭曲和簡單化。如果你隨著這些背井離鄉的人一起踏上顛沛流離之路，也許你將懂得為什麼#敘利亞難民危機與#為巴黎祈禱一樣引人註目。現在應當為人性祈禱，讓所有地方都有人愛。現在是為世界祈禱的時候瞭。”

她揮筆寫下一首詩歌，大唱反調，認為“不應為巴黎祈禱”，並分享到臉譜、Instagram 和推特上。這首詩歌引發許多人的共鳴，迅速在網路上走紅，在臉譜網上被分享瞭3.8萬多次。

It's not Paris we should pray for.

我們不應該為巴黎祈禱，

It is the world. It is a world in which Beirut,

而應該為整個世界祈禱。事件發生前兩天，

reeling from bombings two days before Pairs,

貝魯特遭爆炸襲擊，

is not covered in the press.

媒體集體失聲。

A world in which a bomb goes off

at a funeral in Baghdad

發生炸彈襲擊，

and not one person's status update says "Baghdad",

沒有人將狀態改成“巴格達”，

because not one white person died in the fire.

因為，沒有白人遇難。

Pray for the world

為這個世界祈禱，

that blames a refugee crisis for a terrorist attack.

因為有人指控難民危機應為恐怖襲擊負責，

That does not pause to differentiate between the attacker

而不願意分辨襲擊者，

and the person running from the very same thing you are.

以及那些同樣逃離災難的人們。

Pray for a world

為這個世界祈禱，

where people walking across countries for months,

人們背起行囊

their only belongings upon their backs,

顛簸流離，

are told they have no place to go.

卻被告知無處可去。

Say a prayer for Paris by all means,

你可以為巴黎祈禱，

but pray more,

但應該祈禱的更多，

for the world that does not have a prayer

為這個世界上無人知曉的人們祈禱，

for those who no longer have home to defend.

為無傢可守的人祈禱，

For a world that is falling apart in all corners,

為這個已經支離破碎的世界祈禱，

and not simply in the towers and cafes we find so familiar.

而不僅僅是為瞭我們熟悉的鐵塔和咖啡館。
